Setting up email piping

Steps to setup email piping:

  1. Enable HelpDeskZ email piping:
    - Login to HelpDeskZ admin panel
    - Go to Settings -> Email
    - Set Email Piping to Yes
    - Click Update button
  2. Go to Settings -> General to set the email that will be used for email piping, it is Default return email address
  3. Make sure file /includes/pipe.php has executable permissions. On Linux servers CHMOD this file to 755 (rwxr-xr-x).
  4. Set up the email address to pipe data to the /includes/pipe.php file, for example to:

  5. Test email piping by sending an email to your email piping address. If a new ticket is created email piping has been setup correctly.
